What we ask for
We expect our foster carers to adhere to the following conditions:
• To treat the young person as
they would their own and to have a committed and caring approach to all
children.
• A willingness to be part of
a team, working with the child's parents, local authority, FSG and other
professionals to agreed plans.
• To promote contact with parents
and significant others in the foster home or elsewhere according to the
care plan.
• To keep a daily diary on each
child placed.
• To attend support group meetings
and training sessions.
• To inform FSG prior to any changes
in the household, such as family members or others staying over.
