What we ask for
We expect our foster carers to adhere to the following conditions:
To treat the young person as they would their own and to have a committed and caring approach to all children.
A willingness to be part of a team, working with the child's parents, local authority, FSG and other professionals to agreed plans.
To promote contact with parents and significant others in the foster home or elsewhere according to the care plan.
To keep a daily diary on each child placed.
To attend support group meetings and training sessions.
To inform FSG prior to any changes in the household, such as family members or others staying over.
