Referrals
We accommodate referrals of children in need of assessment or short term
or permanent placements from local authorities around the country.
Whilst we are able to accept referrals of children across the country, our
geographical area of operation in terms of locality of foster carers is
at present based on three defined regions:
South East Kent / South London / Medway
By keeping to these areas of operation we are able to provide an ongoing
and efficient comprehensive support service to our carers which is crucial
to successful outcomes. We are also able in many cases to place children
in, or near, they’re own boroughs if appropriate.
Social workers requiring placements should call Stimson House on 01843 224
324, giving all available and known information of the young person and
their placement needs. The referral will be taken by the referral administrator.
